Skye (unnamed, but must be Talisker).

Sherry Cask.

Diluted to 50%

I very good whisky, but disappointing for the price (£80). Very simple: strong peppery peat balanced by delicate sweet and salt. None of the overpowering fruitcake other sherry casks produce. Lacks the complexity of Talisker's own excellent 25yo.
